Each of the pillars individually and collectively delivers support resources for the students and for the parents/guardians and school staff alike. The program’s curricular components are being effectively utilized by public and private school districts throughout the country during health/PE classes, homerooms, athletic programs, and after school programs.
Sold Out Youth Foundation‘s Mission is to educate, encourage, and challenge students to live a life of alcohol and drug abstinence in order to significantly lessen, if not eradicate, the number of young individuals who are dying each year from alcohol and drugs, specifically fentanyl.
Sold Out Youth Foundation’s purpose is to provide schools and communities with necessary drug and alcohol information including an online comprehensive, flexible, risk mitigating fentanyl education program for students grades 5-12, school staff, parents/guardians, and community leaders in order to:
- Further conversations about the dangers of doing alcohol and drugs, particularly around the dangers of fentanyl, which is now the #1 killer of teenagers and young adults in our country, and
- Proactively protect students, families, and communities against stigma and misinformation by providing accurate research and data surrounding fentanyl.
Sold Out Online Program Features: Risk mitigating, sustainable; measurable results; computer friendly; turnkey; flexible online visual learning; character development support; risk mitigating; counselor, staff and parental/guardian support; students miss little to no classroom time and is a ready-to-use program. Students participating in the program have the opportunity to obtain Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) college credit from accredited universities.
Please note, the Sold Out Youth Foundation does not tell schools/districts how to run the program. Instead, we offer guidance for how to educate students using support tools, resources, and curricular components developed from and based on what research and first hand experiences of students, families, and schools counselors have shared. Teachers, coaches, school nurses, resource officers, and counselors are encouraged to use the program in its entirety with students. We look forward to serving you, and continuing to provide ongoing, vital life saving content for school staff, parents/guardians, students, and the greater community. - i. Fentanyl (an artificial opioid) can be an effective medicine for treating severe pain under the direction of a doctor. Sadly, though, fentanyl is the number one killer among teenagers in the United States due to its potency, misuse and the faulty advertising in online platforms.
